Paradise Vermont sits at the end of a quiet road in Winhall, against a wall of state-protected forest. Authentic, rustic, mountain to its bones — and never roughing it. Four bedrooms, two fireplaces, and a vaulted timber living room and a hot tub inside, a heated pool, loungers and a fire pit outside.

You feel it before you even arrive — the air turning clean in your lungs as the city falls behind and the trees close in around you. Here, mornings start with birdsong instead of traffic, and the days are yours to shape: disconnect entirely, or work with the forest out the window instead of a wall of concrete.

However you spend them, the days here move a little slower. Coffee on the terrace, a swim in the pool, a hike into the forest, and the hot tub under the stars once the sun goes down.

You feel it before you even arrive — the air turning clean and cold in your lungs as the city falls behind and the snow closes in around you. Here, you wake to a world gone white and silent — angelic powder draped over every branch, the kind of quiet only deep winter brings.

The Pool

Heated through the warmer months, from Memorial Day to Columbus Day, set into the garden with the pines behind. Loungers in the sun, and a shaded table under a tree for lunch, snacks, or a long dinner outside.

Just over two acres of garden and lawn slope from the chalet to the tree line. Beyond it, state-protected forest. A firepit on the lawn, a grill on the deck, and a trail to the brook.

The Hot Tub

In its own glass-walled room off the back hall, the hot tub stays hot and ready — heated and dehumidified, as good in a January storm as on a rainy July evening. Towels provided in the dressing room.

10 Minutes to First Chair

Stratton's lifts are ten minutes down the road, with Bromley just as close and Mount Snow thirty minutes on. Plowed parking and an easy morning out the door mean you're on the snow before the crowds.

The Hot Tub

The perfect end to a day on the mountain. In its own glass-walled, heated room off the back hall, the hot tub stays hot and ready — steam rising as the snow falls outside. Towels provided in the dressing room.

Just past the chalet, state-protected forest lies under fresh snow on three sides — a trail for snowshoeing, and the kind of deep, white quiet you only find this far up the valley. No neighbors in sight.
